According to the officials of western countries and some media reports, 1.80 lakh soldiers of Russia and 1 lakh of Ukraine were either killed or injured in this war.

The world was shaken by the war, a blow to the global GDP
This war of two countries had a very bad impact on the world economy. When the world was recovering from Corona and was engaged in improving its economy, then the war started between the two countries. This dealt a severe blow to the global economy. IMF i.e. International Monetary Fund had estimated global GDP growth to be 3.2 percent last year, which has now been reduced to 2.9 percent. It is estimated to be 3.4 per cent in 2024.
There was a shortage of food grains in many countries due to the war.
The belt of Russia and Ukraine produces the world's highest wheat production. About 25 percent of the world's wheat is grown in these two countries only. But due to the war there was a shortage of wheat in many countries. Because wheat from Ukraine could not reach these countries at all. Especially in the Middle East i.e. Gulf countries and African countries, there was an outcry for food grains. Then India fulfilled these countries. Food became scarce in many countries due to the war.
